The workshop on the art of the XX century

From November 30 to December 9, 2005 at the State Russian Museum will host a scientific workshop "national art of 60-90 years of XX century, the art museum. Study. Acquisition. Exposure ".

It is aimed at specialists in the domestic arts of the twentieth century and is a continuation of a multi-year cycle of seminars on various aspects of museum work. The workshop program was developed department of art museums of Russia, Department of Painting of the second half of XIX - XX century and contemporary art at the Department of the State Russian Museum.

The seminars include theoretical and practical training in the departments and funds of the State Russian Museum, the Museum of Scientific Research of the Russian Academy of Arts. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to meet with famous artists of St. Petersburg F.Volosenkovym, Z.Arshakuni, G.Egoshinym, A. Yakovlev, to discuss the problems of the domestic art of the twentieth century, the Round Table, to get acquainted with multimedia programs of the State Russian Museum, and Internet resources for a given theme.

In the scientific and practical seminar will be representatives from Barnaul, Vologda, Samara, Syktyvkar. Chelyabinsk, Tyzhden Tagil, Krasnodar, Taganrog, Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Moscow and other cities
