Arabesque

Arabesque (it. arabesco - Arabic) - Eastern European name of a complex of medieval ornament, consisting of geometric and floral elements. Arabesque can include sophisticated graphics Arabic script. The special distribution was received in the arabesques of the Renaissance, and later became known as a quaint arabesques ornament only of plant forms (stylized leaves, flowers, stems, etc.) that make up the complex weave.
