Portraits of women in the 17th century show heroines not only in a variety of poses and clothes, but also demonstrate their occupations, interests. We see not just the appearance of a woman, but also a piece of her life, which also demonstrates her inner world. Heroes of the paintings are both high-ranking people and ordinary women, so on some canvases a woman simply poses in the interior or plays a musical instrument, and on the other she cooks in the kitchen.
