I was never so interested with Greek myohgloty and epics but your review made the book somewhat tolerable. What's repelling though, is the portrayal that the male bestfriends were romantically involved, so I might not really put this book at the top of my list.I'd like to point out my opionion though about the depths of feelings Achilles and Patroclus have for each other. I think that it's very possible to be so angered and grieved at the death of a friend. I mean, a person sometimes [
vows to kill his brother's murderer, even if their relationship is not as deep as best friends.Overall, great review. Very well written!
