Having peeped at the young maiden bathing in a garden, two judges-elders began to decline her to a coition, threatening to accuse in case of refusal of adultery and to execute. Susanna rejected their harassments and was in a false manner accused. Execution which fell apart at the last minute had to take place: the prophet Daniil interrogated aged men and caught them in a lie.
