A funny sketch, which, despite the dramatic plot, seems comical, caricatured. The whole situation of the stagecoach robbery is slightly exaggerated - the faces of the characters have theatrical expressions, which express rather surprise, including the robber himself. Thanks to such technique of a sketch and the versatility of the image of the scene, the canvas seems to be an illustration to a children's story, comic books.
