The artist depicted only the figure of the lying girl, but the picture clearly conveys a feeling of relaxation, peace, rest. Every detail conveys the ease of her posture - the skirt with an apron hangs in careless folds, the hat fell off its head, even one shoe fell off its foot and lay on the side. The girl sleeps with her hands under her head, like a child, and her mouth is slightly open. This gives it a certain sincerity, absolute naturalness and touching.
