It is horizontal vertical format painting. Rudolf Ernst depicted a group of men who are tightly and firmly holding a lion. It seems that hunting was dangerous, reckless, very exciting and full of passion. Men are so surprised by their lack and hunting skills. Some man is fearing to approach the lion. This wild animal is still alive although it is injured. The artwork is perfect for Orient interior style of home decoration. The painting “Captured Lion” is lively and sympathetic. I like the work of [Expand]
