Citizens of which countries have the right to purchase real estate in Italy?
In Italy, at the legislative level, equal rights for foreigners and locals to buy real estate in the country are enshrined. Accordingly, there are no restrictions for Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians.
There is no need to ask for permission from the local authorities or to obtain a residence permit in Italy.
What types of real estate are foreigners allowed to buy?
It is allowed to acquire full ownership of all types of objects, including undeveloped land, as well as shares or shares of companies that own real estate in Italy. Transactions can be concluded on an individual and / or legal entity.
