The canvas Russian artist will be kept in the monastery VatopedMonumental a painting of St. Petersburg artist Vyacheslav Cebotari dedicated to the Divine Liturgy, presented today in St. Petersburg. Triptych, created in Vatopedi monastery of Mount Athos, was put in the center of Svyatoduhovskom the Alexander Nevsky Monastery.
Among the guests were members of the St. Petersburg presentation of parliament, representatives of city administration and the diplomatic corps in Greece in St. Petersburg, headed by Consul General Theodoros Bizakisom.
The picture consists of three architectural types of the Greek monastery, the theme of the Divine Liturgy at different daily time of worship. The central part is devoted to the All-Night Vigil, left and right - Matins and Liturgy.
In Greece, Vyacheslav Cebotari was invited to the biggest Byzantine and Christian Museum, which has a permanent storage created by the master model of a bronze monument to the future of the holy Apostle Andrew.
