Pictures of the St. Petersburg artist Ludmila Kutsenko
November 16 in the Benois Wing of the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg opened an exhibition of the artist Ludmila Kutsenko, organized for the anniversary of the author. The exhibition includes 44 paintings, 20 graphic works, 13 collages.
Ludmila Kutsenko was born in 1930 in Krasnoyarsk. In 1953 she graduated from Art College named after Serov (now - the name of Nicholas Roerich). At this time, life has brought Lyudmila Viktorovna with Eugenia Markovna Magaril - pupil of Malevich and M. Matyushina, under the direction of a future artist studied painting. L. In 1953 Kutsenko admitted to the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after IE Repin, and then continued her studies in graduate school. In his own work held various stages of comprehension of figurative forms, ranging from postimressionizma and surrealism, going to the beginning of the 1980s to the abstract form, is more responsible for her creative interests. Talking with many creative people, in particular, with VV Sterligov, avoiding the possibility of a young artist to be under the spell anyone's been the creative method, but still a great influence on it has in the late 1960s, P. M. Kondratyev, and its environment. When she saw the works of Kondratiev, then, she admitted that "much has become clearer, although much of this to see abstract works. From 1962 to 1986 L. Kutsenko taught in the department of painting in general LVHPU the VI Fly, bringing up a galaxy of Leningrad artists. Since 1970 - Member of the Russian Union of Artists theater section, since 1991 - Member of the International Federation of Artists (IFA).
In 1980 - 1983 years, LV Kutsenko organized art group "Parallel".
