The opinion that an active sexual life is thinning out the hair is shared by most women. However, the relationship between bald head and being a real macho is rather arbitrary. Indeed, one of the types of allopecia, androgenetic, is caused by a hormonal disorder. But at the same time, the hormone does not "play" in the whole body, the process is local. So, there is no reason to talk about increased sexuality.
In addition to the androgenetic type of baldness, there is also diffuse and focal (nesting). Uniform hair loss from the entire surface can be the result of stress, insomnia, infectious and endocrine diseases, disruption of the sebaceous glands (seborrhea), surgery under general anesthesia, deficiency of vitamins, minerals, proteins, age-related changes.
Nesting alopecia also affects the beard, eyebrows, eyelashes. It occurs as a result of traumatic brain injuries, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and nervous pathologies. But the two most common causes are syphilis and malfunctions in the immune system.

The methods for treating baldness are divided into two groups: surgical and drug.

The most common surgical method is transplantation. Donor hair is taken from the back of the head and transferred to the foci of baldness. As a rule, follicles take root well in a new place and "bear fruit" throughout a person's life. Surgical intervention is carried out in several stages with intermediate healing, the procedure is quite painful. An even more cardinal way is suturing the scalp.
If the above is scary, you can turn to medications. But this should not be salon procedures, during which damaged hair is usually "stuffed" with a neutral substance, for example, silicone, not healing it, but as if mummifying. These therapeutic methods act on the inside of the hair through the follicle, delivering active substances to it. The disadvantage of this method is that drugs based on the action of minoxidil or natural components cease to function after a while and the hair returns to its original state.
A more serious treatment requires baldness of the adrogenetic type. Men are prescribed medications that lower testosterone levels, and not locally (which is impossible in principle), but throughout the body. Then you have to take other hormonal drugs to restore sexual activity.
In women, this type of baldness is often caused by diseases of the ovaries, adrenal glands, thyroid gland, central nervous system, or menopause. Accordingly, it is not the effect that is being treated, but the cause.
OBSERVATION
Scientists note the relationship between hair loss and the likelihood of heart disease: in people with baldness, the risk of pathology is 36% higher.
