Craquelure

Craquelure (Fr. craquelure) - cracked paint film in the works of art on canvas, as well as porcelain and enamel. K appears in the paintings after the execution result of differences in the coefficient of expansion of the paint layer in the process of drying and evaporation of diluents, as well as in dried films of extreme temperatures, humidity, excessive dryness, bumps and other mechanical influences.
