Applique

Widely used application in the arts and crafts to create murals, rugs and curtains. Surprisingly, it is interesting to use to decorate the costumes of the peoples north and south of Russia. So Chukchi and Eskimos do ornaments on their clothes, shoes, bags made of fish skin, fur, deer, chamois, deer hair sticking to or colored threads. A seamstress for the Bashkir national carpets could use applique from wool, felt, ribbon and thread.
