Adonis ("lord") - the son of the king of Cyprus Kinyra and Mira, a young beautiful god, the ruling order of things on earth.

Lived in Cyprus just and wise king Cinyras. He was born in Byblos and moved to Cyprus to achieve the Phoenician culture. Cinyras educated inhabitants of the island of Cyprus native music, dance, and many useful trades.

Cinyras (Kiniras) - Cypriot king, the son of Apollo, the father of Mirra (Smyrna), father and grandfather of Adonis.
