Maybe you should think of it more like a book. The thing that makes a pitniang valuable, usually, is the quantity produced. Or a Statue, usually there's just one. Media on the other hand is often mass produced, like books. It doesn't make it a lesser form of art, or cheaper', but it is much more available to the masses.
