The depicted couple is not quite traditional for painting - a woman participates in a hunt with a man, according to her glance it is clear that she is not here accidentally, but she knows how to be cold-blooded, how to wait for the right moment and shoot with confidence. The man is depicted emphatically courageous and dominant even next to such a strong woman - he is great in size, looks down at the companion and somehow patronizing, caring and respectful. Interesting story.
