The canvas depicts the reapers on the rest and fully conveys a feeling of fatigue, exhaustion from work and, probably, from the heat. The brightly lit background allows you to feel the heat of the sun, the day is in full swing and the sun is high. The workers in the foreground are lying on the hay without strength, and the woman is standing, holding a braid in her hand, but she looks tired too. The haystack makes it clear how much work has been done, but the uncutted ears in the background hint that [Expand]
