A slightly dull title was chosen by the author for the picture. The heroine of the canvas rests on the pitchfork, which probably removed the unnecessary grass. She thoughtfully looks at the smoldering of the remnants of this grass, only a weak stream of light smoke remains from it. In the distance, trees with reddened foliage are visible, and the sky is covered with dark clouds. The colors of the composition are almost winter rather than autumn, rather dark and saturated.
