Landscape, in which the depicted characters play a cameo role, they represent only one of the details of the composition. Much more interesting are the sky, the trees, the hilly terrain and the valley in the background. The author paid great attention to each of these elements. The sky with clouds occupy almost half of the picture. The author tried to depict them in great detail, using the widest range of various shades from white to white-blue and white-gray.
