Hi Emily. I liked your article and your cmemont. The meditation that David Lynch practices and writes about is indeed TM, and he definitely encourages people to shill out the money for the TM course tuition and go through the personal instruction and training to learn this technique of effortless transcending. David speaks with honesty about his experiences in meditation. It's not uncommon to experience bliss during transcendence, and records of the euphoric nature of contact with pure consciousness [Expand]
can be found throughout the texts of Eastern literature (Western, too), including the crown sutras of Buddhism. I've been doing TM for decades and as a result enjoy a natural continuum of underlying bliss. As many Eastern texts declare, bliss or ananda is the ultimate reality of life (in the state of enlightenment). The Buddha described enlightenment as freedom from suffering; to be free from suffering to an extreme, is bliss. But it's not a product of human emotion, and indeed the experience of transcendence does render human human emotions as no big deal. In fact, nothing is a big deal when you're established in That. But of course that reality of satchitananda (never-changing bliss consciousness) is not the product of intellectualizing or cultivating an attitude, it's a product of a refined, cultured state of physiology that supports a fully awakened consciousness. As EEG studies show, transcending twice daily spontaneously cultures this state. Many people don't know this, but TM is pure Zen: it's a technique of total non-doing, taking one to that state of knowingness beyond all mental activity and emotion. If you looked into it, you'd find it perfectly compatible with the precepts of Buddhism. Thousands of Buddhist monks in India, Thailand and elsewhere practice TM and even teach it in their schools. My experience with the non-profit TM organization has been nothing less than wonderful. Joe does much to make known his animosity toward TM, such as keeping alerts for TM articles and posting his negative cmemonts. I believe he is sincere and really believes that meditation caused his problems. But his perspective contrasts sharply with my personal experience, and does not at represent the reality of TM or the benevolent organization as I and many others know it.

but the attitude s/he is sohiwng to others. From my observation, many girls/women can't really show what they mean in a nice way. And, actually, quite a number of them think that they've a need to express their feelings directly without any disguise.I think that there's a need to have good manner in both personal and work life. However, being blunt may probably be the nature of women...

The artwork of Charles Theodore Frere is horizontal format painting. It is best and perfectly suited for Arabian interior style of home decoration. I like the artwork of Charles Theodore Frere “The Banks of the Nile”. He depicted people who are standing and talking near the banks of the Nile. They are actually resting. Some women were laundering. The artwork of Charles Theodore Frere is perfectly composed with radian colors. Well-balanced structure. Very gorgeous and impressive. Warm atmosphere. [Expand]
