It is horizontal format painting. Charles James Theriat depicted old Arab men who is sitting in the shade. The man looks like tired from the endless hot. He seems full of thoughts when the hot would be over or at least, the sunny day would finish. And he finds a rescue in the evening. The street where he sits is empty and most men and women hide in their houses. The artwork is perfect for Orient interior style of home decoration. I do like this work for lively mood and well-thought-out arrangement. [Expand]
