It is horizontal format painting. Rudolf Ernst painted two lovely girls. The first one the youngest looks like illiterate. She peacefully lying on sofa and attentively listen to her friend. The other girl is sitting on the floor with a thick book in her hand. But I have some feeling that seated girl also cant read. The artwork The Reader is perfect and ideal for Orient interior style of home decoration. I like the work of Rudolf Ernst as it is full of life, natural and colorful. The composition [Expand]
