It is horizontal format painting. Rudolf Ernst painted two lovely girls. The first one – the youngest – looks like illiterate. She peacefully lying on sofa and attentively listen to her friend. The other girl is sitting on the floor with a thick book in her hand. But I have some feeling that seated girl also can’t read. The artwork “The Reader” is perfect and ideal for Orient interior style of home decoration. I like the work of Rudolf Ernst as it is full of life, natural and colorful. The composition [Expand]
