It is vertical format painting. Hans Makart depicted a naked, young woman in her early twenties. I would guess that she is mother who is holding a small kid (toddler?) on her shoulder. She apparently loves her kid and very cautiously and graciously walking with her child. The woman has nice flowers in her other hand.
