Angelo Caroselli (1585-1652) A Lady With Her Dog, An Allegory

Oil on canvas (65.4 x 50.2 cm)( 25,7 x 19,7 inch ) Private collection

[ The beautiful notable woman sits on expensive chair. In her hands there is the small doggie of white colour. Behind the back of woman in twilight a mysterious portrait of the second woman in a mask. Judging by the figure of a lion decorating an armchair - it is possible there are from Venice. ]
