Little boys combine childish naivete, openness and the desire to be men-strong, courageous, decision-makers. This creates a touching image, which many artists capture, trying to show this period between infancy and adolescence. Funny is the picture "The Flower Gatherer" by Frederick Morgan, where the boy tries to pose as an adult, but in the eyes there is fatigue, boredom and a desire to leave these flowers and do something else.
