Is it me or did anyone else ncitoe between 1:43-1:47 how that Dilla soul-sampled sound lies in subtleties, only fully exposed when one attempts the musical equivalent of reading between the lines? Pure genius! J Dilla certainly proved that, in a culture dominated by image, old-fashioned ideals of good music and a genuine love for the art can still reign supreme. Thank you Dilla!!! Thank you!
