The work is vertical format painting. Jean-Leon Gerome depicted an woman whose life is not easy and careless. She has to work and her job is even difficult for men. The depicted woman has to carry heavy pitcher with water. She carries repeatedly, each day, several times per day. Nevertheless, she looks like optimistic and doesn’t feel sad. The artwork is perfect and ideal for Orient interior style of home decoration. I like this work for the tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. It is highly charming [Expand]
