The artwork of Hans Makart is vertical format painting. It is best and perfectly suited for Italian interior style of home decoration. I do like the artwork of Hans Makart “Sacrificial scene”. The artist painted (I would guess) family who are sacrificing newly-born child. All of them – father, badly looking grandmother, kids are quite excited, even smiling (as father) and satisfied.
