Still life itself is always attractive - because everyone likes to look at fresh flowers and ripe fruit. But sometimes the authors supplement them with seemingly extraneous elements - books, musical instruments, etc., this gives to the composition an extra charm, makes us think about some hidden meaning and, finally, makes the picture memorable.
