The picture depicts a fashionista of "Belle Epoque" at the masquerade. Perhaps it was made to order as a portrait, but the artist partially idealized his model. The girl's dress demonstrates her desire to match fashion, she probably leads an active social life and, of course, does not belong to the romantic ladies of the previous period. But in order to make her image less fatal, the author places it on a background of pastel tones with a bouquet of tender pink flowers, and this gives youth [Expand]
